WINTER STREET

Pastor Upcott comes to us from The First Bible Baptist Church in Lincoln, Maine where he served as Assistant Pastor  and Senior Pastor.  He and his wife  have four children and are a licensed foster home.

He was born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan.  He received his formal education from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, graduating with a BA in Practical Christian Training with a Ministerial Emphasis in 1993.  He has served as a teacher and athletic director at Clinton Christian Schools in Maryland.

Secular work experience includes:  General Laborer for H.R. Shedd & Sons, Builders;  Farrington Electric;  Sears in Bangor and Sears Hometown Stores in Lincoln and Newport, Maine; volunteer driver for Penquis CAP;  Funeral Attendant for Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln; and a "Call Firefighter" for Lincoln Fire Company.

Pastor and Mrs. Upcott have a heart for the children in the community and have started a children's program here at Winter Street. They are looking forward to seeing our new youth & teen programs take off and reach the next generation for Christ.
